Georgette's Wedding

June 2007

Another wedding that will stick out in my mind- i think the flowers came out AMAZING! I praise Tiffany on this wedding- she worked with Georgette on this one and totally blew my mind with how she designed things! (She's keepin' me on my toes now!) The pictures just don't do it justice, but I think this wedding belongs in a magazine!!

Flowers we used: Hydrangeas, Lisianthus, Belles of Ireland, Roses, Stock, Ivy, and Tiffany's all time favorite...hanging amaranthus!

The candelabras are our new table top candelabras we purchased back in the spring- this is with minimal floral decor- they are beautiful with elaborate scroll work! The dark urns and columns are new as well, and so far my favorite!

Beautiful photos taken by yours truely!

Keeli's Wedding

Keeli's wedding was one I will definitely never forget! (actually its very hard for me to forget one, however her's will stand out in my mind forever!)
Ceremony Location: Marty Leonard Chapel
Reception Location: Modern Art Museum in FW
Photographer: Lynn Michelle

Keeli really let me run with my artistic flair on this one, she was gutsy, but put her trust in me! I think it paid off! The wedding was so chic and stylish, i think the flowers showed that up as well! We used a nice mix of white, ivory, champagne and sage green for her bouquet using hydrangeas, cymbidium orchids, freesia, roses, mini calla lilies and spray roses. The bridesmaids each carried a different color of hydrangea (pink, purple, green, white and blue) which i think looked amazing with their different style of black dresses! The part that i loved the most- Keeli gave me a roll of wrapping paper that was a beautiful black and white print- she used this paper as the lining on the inside of her invitiations, so we carried it thru on the square vases for the reception as well! I think it pulled things together SO well and added such a cool touch to the simplicity of hte hydrangea arrangements!!

Keeli's Rehearsal Dinner

Keeli wanted something fun and different and she loved Asters (these are Matsumoto Asters) so I did fun and different for Keeli! Peas are such a fun touch (although they kinda stink while working with them!) and the color makes all flowers stand out!

Nicole's Wedding

May 5th 2007
Nicole's Wedding was at Paradise Cove in Southlake, the rain held out for an outside wedding (horray!) Nicole was just absolutely stunning, and her flowers only complimented her!
We used Green Hydrangeas, Apricot Mini Calla Lilies, Stargazer Lilies, "Sweet Unique" Roses, Pale Yellow Tulips and white Stephanotis for Nicole's Bouquet. The Bridesmaids were simiar but no Stargazers and no hydrangeas, but instead had Green Hypericum berries.

Photography was done by McNosky Images & SDS Photography- they did BEAUTIFUL work! (of course I'm biased!)

Courtney's Wedding

Last weekend was Courtney's Wedding. Courtney and her mom Helen were so easy to work with and put total trust in us with our artistic design. (I love that!) Courtney knew what colors she wanted, and a few main flowers, but the smaller details she gave us the reins! Her colors were Hot Fuchsia Pink, Orange, Coral and Chartreuse Green. The bridesmaids wore beautiful coral dresses. Ceremony was at Robert Carr Chapel, Reception at Marquis on Magnolia. I love working at both venues, they both have such distinct character. The flowers we used in Courtney's Bouquet was Fuchsia Peonies, Orange Rannuculas, few Fuchsia Roses, Coral tulips, green berries and her crystal accents. The Bridesmaids carried Fuchsia Roses, Coral/Orange parrot tulips and green belles of ireland. We also hung wreaths with fun ribbons (I say fun because i loved these colors and just had fun putting it together!) and we also hung pomanders in the windows at Marquis on Magnolia with ribbons hanging as well. The centerpieces we did simple short cylinder vases with ribbons on the vases with all shades of coral, orange and pink tulips (some even had green stripes on them) I just loved all these bright colors of spring flowers! Perfect for the season!

I love this color scheme- greens and whites- so simple, but so elegant! We used alot of really cool elements as well- hydrangeas, roses, tulips, lady slipper orchids, Peonies, belles of ireland and stephanotis.

Prom!

Its been a while since I last posted. We've been super busy! This last weekend was prom weekend for Birdville- we do alot of design work with them, they're great to work with! So I hope the senior class had a great time at prom!
I'll post pictures soon of the actual prom flowers once I get them from Tara- but here are a few bouts & corsages we did- we love doing the contemporary style- I hope they enjoyed them just as much! We use alot of different style elements- beads, aluminum colored wire, rhinestones, tons of ribbons, and even peacock feathers!

Amie's Wedding

I haven't had the chance to take any pictures in the past 2 weekends, but I did remember to take some quick pictures of Amie's Flowers while we were loading up yesterday afternoon! I kept reminding myself and glad I did! I loved her flowers- her colors were purples and green- we did alot of spring flowers- hydrangeas, mini calla lilies, tulips, veronica, lavender roses, freesia and cymbidium orchids. I'm looking forward to seeing the photographer's pictures, the coloring from my flash made them look a little more yellow & blue tones....not good when working with purple and green! LOL The venue was one of my absolute favorite venues for a wedding- the Dallas World Aquarium! SUCH a cool place to get married (man, IF only i would have thought of it when Gavin & I got married! ahaha!) This was my 2nd time having a wedding there, and I think it is just such a unique place for such a great event!
